SHIP WRECK of the XIX Century at OLONET, KARELIA

The ship wreck, dating back approximately to the nineteenth century, has been documented in detail with the use of laser scanners.
In the second phase of recuperation the ship was completely dismantled into separate pieces and transported in special tanks to the laboratory. There very gradual drying out of wood parts took place and the subsequent restoration of these followed, waiting an appropriate museum space for the ship in Olonet, Karelia.
