The restoration of the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important operations of museum restoration currently in progress in Italy, is conducted by CMSA and PIACENTI Spa employing the latest techniques in excellence, based on extremely accurate diagnosis and targeted towards use of every available advanced method in scientific research and the technology of restoration.
The project provides for the recovery of neglected areas of the building as exhibition space, and will increase the actual exhibition area of 5,000 square metres to 12,000 square metres. New service areas and facilities will be included in the recuperated zone.
